Award-Winning Chefs Chris and Mary Bandereck have been working together in various food endeavors for over 30 years.
The pair graduated from Johnson and Wales University in the early 80's and married in 1986. Over the years, they have worked in many hotels, private clubs and food service establishments from New England to Arizona. Their individual careers have allowed them to experience and enjoy many different areas within the hospitality industry. What began and remains as an award winning cake and weddings desserts Bakeshop became something even bigger and better when one day a neighbor asked Mary if she could make a pumpkin Whoopie Pie: the rest is history! The Topsfield Bakeshop has been serving Boston and the North Shore for over 25 years.
